our creative director

Our creative director Camille Chisaka 千坂(ちさか) was born in Toulouse, France to a Japanese father (a professional ballet dancer who was training with the Ballet National de Marseille) and her French mother, a painter and sculpter from a neighbouring town.

Camille was originally trained as an architect at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris before subsequently pursuing her true passion in the culinary arts at Académie Culinaire.

Her family name means “a thousand hills”, which together with her technical training, was her initial inspiration to focus on cakes and pastries with an architectural aesthetic.
